So I got home and it seems that gran fell during the night and broke her hip. She's also concussed. She's at the hospital at the moment, mom with her. I don't think we'll be seeing much of mom for a while. Gran can hardly get around on her own as it is. With a broken hip I really don't know how she'll manage. She is 92. I doubt she'll come over here on Sundays for lunch anymore. After breaking her hip, I'm sure her mobility will mean she will definately not be able to handle our steep stairs to the bathroom. So that means our entire sundays (well not Trowas, I guess, he'll be at Uni) will be over at her house... ... if she can cope on her own. She was just about managing but... broken hip? Eh... je ne sais pas. On the plus side I am really really looking forward to seeing Gryphie on Friday, I think I'm going to need the break.

Draggy Draggy, And1 League... other than a test of skills and performances, this league is definitely a test of patience, time management and commitment. although we are allowed to register 16 players, but the number of players that attend matches towards the end is getting lesser and lesser. good teams like teckghee and dos did not make it to the top 4, NOT because they lacked in skills, but perhaps commitment to this draggy league. I don't think Kaixuan is very far back compared to these 2 teams this year but being in the top 4 without them is kind of disappointing. being able to fight it out against strong teams like them would make the win more fulfilling. I rushed down for our last match against RP yesterday night, but was disappointed to know that we did not have enough players. we had only 4, the other 12 players had other 'commitments'. was rather upset because this could mean that we might lose our first placing.
